The FILMKUNSTFEST MV is hosting four competitive schemes for the latest film productions from all the German speaking countries, Austria, Switzerland, and of course Germany. These films are supposed to be either
- a full-length feature film (10 contributions),
- a full-length documentary (10 contributions),
- a full-length children’s- or youth film (6-10 contributions),
- or a short film (20 contributions) usually shown before the other regular films.
According to the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis in Saarbrücken, the FILMKUNSTFEST in Schwerin is one of the most important up-and-coming-festivals in Germany. These films do not need to be debut films however, so check for further information on the regulations, submissions and participation of the filmmakers, here: GUIDELINES. The film submission for the 27th FILMKUNSTFEST MV 2017 has already begun. You can send in films until 15 February 2017!
